This is what I hate about all of this most of all. I don't want out current commits to see the shitstorm the rantards kick off on Crob. Is he a great player? No doubt. But we have other great players coming here. We had a very good signing class in Feb, and are setup for an even better one this upcoming Feb. Not to mention 2015 is looking just as good ALREADY.

The part that I am confused about is that we all keep hearing that he grew up a LSU fan and still is, but yet he is going to commit to Gumps. I just can't comprehend that one.

And here is where you are missing the boat. Its not that he wont be welcomed back, but he wont be celebrated. As has been mentionedhow time and again both LSU and Bama offer Cam the same opportunity football wise. The difference is when he is done playing football and settling back down to normalcy chances are he will go back where his family is, LA. And if he comes to LSU he would be a local hero. If he goes to Bama he will just be an ex football player. The one thing LSU offers in state recruits is to become legendary.

yeah I have pretty much written this one off as gone. Good luck to the kid wish would have had him. I have read tons of good points and I have read some stuff that makes me so angry and disappointed in our fan base and the whole situation.
I think what kills me most is:
1. This class was historic. compared to the fab 5 of football if we had everybody. he is ruining that. Little ole Louisiana was going to have the worlds best class ever. (will still be a great class)
2. Out of all teams he went to our most hated rival.

Not watching. If he picks Bama I don't have to be disgusted. If he picks LSU it will be a pleasant surprise (after the fact)... like getting what you actually asked Santa Clause for when you were a kid... not just clothes.

I hope the board does not take this wrong, but Cam is NOT coming to LSU. I was trying to be optimistic as well but that's a waste of time. I understand that he is an elite talent but I hope we find someone that can be a solid college tackle to take his spot.
I am normally the biggest sunshine pumper of the bunch but the proof is in the pudding. The sooner we can move on, the better.

Did something actually happen? I come to this thread and it looks like something actually happened that proves where he will commit to. Did I miss something or is this rampant seculation that he's going to bama over and over to the point that everyone has accepted it as truth?
