You serious Clark? Frank is a one man pipeline.

This is a very true statement.

Frank is directly responsible for us receiving talent that can come in and start immediately. Since he has come here, LSU's talent level has actually increased believe it or not. He should be our highest paid assistant with Chavis.

Frank will not go to Bama. He does not like Saban.

LSU recruits well because it's LSU and has a great staff. It's not because of one guy

That may be the case for recruiting the US but when it comes to recruiting New Orleans if you think Frank Wilson is not 99% of why we get those kids your being naive. Do you remember what happened as soon as Frank was hired? We got AJ to switch from Tenn, where Frank was at to LSU. Most of the kids from the NO area bond to coach Wilson. He seems to be a big brother type role model to them. There was a time when we didn't get a whole bunch of the NO kids. We don't want to go back there.

I think Frank is worth every penny he makes because he makes recruiting LA for us a lot simpler and easy than it would be without him. The figghts would have much more drama without him.

That said, I think his optimum value is at LSU(that's pretty easy to decipher) and while I think he could pull a few kids over time from LA to another school, it wouldn't be a mass exodus of LA kids to that school. It just doesn't work that way. Distance and home are bigger than a coach or recruiter in most cases and LA kids stay home and play for LSU. He didn't pull LSU kids to OM and wasn't pulling them to Tennessee even though that staff was loaded from a recruiting standpoint. Freak was committed there but he would've flipped to LSU eventually. He was never gonna go anywhere else . His family wanted him home and he wanted to be at home as well.

The biggest impact Frank would make in recruiting LA at another school is the amount of bullshite and panic his being at another school would bring to this board. That would be complete hell. Look at the strife Burns causes and he doesn't have near the impact Frank would have.

It's more the lack of LSU locking down NOLA without him than the one school he goes to taking every recruit.
