Yeah this is actually fricking ideal. UGA hasn’t been a serious contender for a minute. Him leaving the state for the weekend right after our in home looks great to me.

This is ridiculous. Weren’t they a fluke play away from winning the natty two years ago and should have been in the playoff last year and in the SEC CG this year with an opportunity to get in the CFP? They’ve been more of a serious contender over the last 3-4 years than LSU has been.

This is good for us. We told him not to take a visit to USCe this weekend and if he did we would know that he is going there, but since he is at Georgia it means he is just using up his OV’s.

honestly can't believe some of you believe this

he might decide to come here but be real about it. looks like georgia is the one that everybody should have been worried about from the start. they've been confident on him for a few weeks now.

Dude. Chill. Bob was saying they haven't been a serious contender for BURCH in a minute

Look...this stuff happens in recruiting. It only sounds ridiculous because its something you don't think can happen. It can. It doesn't sound like a spy novel when its a coach/recruit and family in a living room discussing next steps.

You fricking dumb or just have poor reading comprehension? They haven’t been a serious contender FOR BURCH for a while. I didn’t say anything about how their program has been doing. Just from everything that’s been said and everything I’ve heard personally, UGA really hasn’t been mentioned very much with Burch the last several months. It’s mainly been LSU, USCe, Clemson, and to a lesser extent Bama. Could they swoop in and get em at the last minute? Sure, way crazier things have happened. But him visiting UGA is much better for us than him using this last OV on one of the instate schools.

You shouldn’t compare any situation to Gilbert. That was one of the most out of left field occurrences I’ve ever seen in recruiting. He’s a different type of kid.

I don’t know. I heard this week he might flip to UGA, then I heard he was solid to LSU. No ones confirmed if he’s on UGA’s campus this weekend on either side, but I know if he is he didn’t tell our staff. Usually if a kid is gonna take an OV without telling the staff he’s committed to, that’s not a great sign. But that would also go against what type of kid he is. He told the staff about his OV to ASU and his midweek UV to Athens a couple weeks ago. So I don’t know, but I think he sticks.

I'm with you. UGA has lost some momentum as a program. If Burton has watched us and them play all year, it's a no brainer. He would be going there to be an LSU receiver from 2009-2018.

Well, it's a valid concern. You want to be the final visit for a recruit. I'm sure there's a positive correlation between the teams the get the final visit and where they end up signing. That's why our coaches want them to shut it down. These kids are very impressionable.
