That’s honestly been one of LSUs biggest selling point traditionally. We started tons of freshmen this past year. However, looking at how good these freshmen were, people don’t want to sit for 2-3 more years or fight for playing time

Matthews is almost more linebacker than safety due to his size, also dont think he's on Anderson or Allen Jr's level personally.

Having an actual defensive coordinator would probably helps us keep and recruit some of these kids for 2022.

Allen Jr was to be expected for a while the way Jojo flipped to Bama last minute on us. Both from same school so you know there's chatter.
What will really suck is if Anderson flips to the Aggies like they expect soon as well. We'll have literally lost all our very early DB commits in the 2022 class at that point between Allen Jr, Anderson and Rogers. All top 100 overall guys.

Those are such massive losses. Those three guys alone would create a Championship caliber secondary.

If this was 3 top 100 OL decommitting, the backlash against Cregg would be unreal. Everyone just going to let Raymond slide?

You speak as if it’s a done deal that none of them are going to sign with us. Did I miss something? Is it December of 2021 and all three have already sent in their signed LOI to other schools?

How can u blame this on Raymond when these kids have no idea who the DC will be and what system he will implement?
