Butler also hinted that if Trent Richardson signed with LSU, he wouldn't be considering us.

i heard from a reliable source that bryce is a silent commit and that miles is actually looking at butler
as a possible assistant bc authur sr wants them to be a packaged deal. He went on to say that despite
a late push by Saban and Alabama, brown has wanted to go to LSU for a while. But, Derek Helton was dating
his ex gf at the time so he didnt want to play on the same team with the home wrecker. However, she has since
began sleeping with a respected poster on TD.com and Brown will anounce his intentions to
play football on Saturdays in Baton Rouge Book it.

Sounds like a solid inside source.

Bryce Brown to Manchester United. Book it.

His mentor said that Bryce actually tried to convince Loston to go to Miami when he thought that was where he was going. They did say that he and RR was on the 2 teams playing in the game and other LSU recruits,if you can name them, please do.

Butler fed Tennessee the same 'this school is right for Bryce Brown' speil a couple of weeks ago. The question you should be asking yourself is 'What is in it for Brian Butler?' He is not doing it out of the goodness of his heart. So, what is his ulterior motive for 'mentoring these high school athletes? I think that is why the NCAA is investigating and some schools are shying away from Brown.

It seems as if this advisor to Bryce is a very nice guy. He is the one who encouraged Bryce to take a visit. He represented about 12 players this year and he sounds as if he is helping these young student atheletes find the best schools that suit them. He was very polite and spoke very highly of LSU and its program. He is playing a much different role than I thought. He sounds as if he has good Christian values.

I listened to it too and from what I heard the kid sounds to be very unselfish.
Consider the source. What the hell else is he going to say. He's being investigated by the NCAA already. Bama quit recruiting his brother last year because of Butler.

This guy is NOT who he says he is. He's a former "rapper/cell-phone salesman." As if that didn't speak for itself, consider the fact that BB never celebrated TDs with his teammates. Never did pre-game stretching with his team. He's always thought of himself and only himself. He's obviously gifted, but I think the baggage would be too much. I mean if he can get humbled a bit, I'm sure he'd turn out fine, but this guy has the me-first mentality through and through.

Most con-men are pretty eloquent.

Just sayin.

No implications or anything.

You must really be an Alabama homer. I hope that if anyone close to this kid reads this garbage that they will realize that this is an open board and people that really hate LSU post here also. As to him being investigated for something that you say happened last year, it must have been unfounded because he is talking about doing it next year again. He mentioned a quarterback from Kansas who is suppose to be a national recruit and another 10 or 12 kids he will help make intelligent decisions regarding the schools that would best suit their individual needs and talents.

I think we've all been prejudiced by the "mentor=agent" innuendo running rampant. He doesn't own a negative rep based on anything he said in that interview. He said everything I would want a coach or uncle to say if I were to entrust someone in looking out for the best interest of my son...and more. Now whether he is a con man just laying the ground for a future big payday remains to be seen, but the NCAA will have their say soon enough. But who will be the gullible ones if the NCAA finds nothing? The ones that lapped up internet rumors or the ones that took him for his word?

As far as the rapper/cellphone salesman thing, step outside of your little world. I worked with a dude for 15 years in the French Quarter who may have been one the most talented & genuine persons I've ever met in my life. He is the best sketch artist that the world has never seen. (That's no sh*t) He does photography, watercolors and writes essays. He plays the piano & drums & sings. The dude goes to church with his wife and kids and is just an all-around good guy. Oh, and on the side he raps and has produced some sick jams, that for some reason only he knows, only his friends have heard. I guess it's just a hobby to him. Right now, he's right at 40 years old and guess what, he works at Verizon to put food on his family's table.

Breaking news, you can be objective without being naive.

Dear Rickyh,

Please get your nose out of Brian Butler's jock. It's awkward for all of us. I've never seen anyone sniffing it so hard. Just pay the $9.99 a month to his website and watch BB in the privacy of your own bathroom. Just leave us out of it.

You seriously posted that he's looking to go to a school with a good vet program? If you think he's choosing his university for anything other than draft position, you're wrong.

Brian Butler is NOT a mentor. He's NOT a community leader. He's NOT a role model. He's a scam artist- a former telemarketing rapper salesman. Looks like you're the only one buying his goods.
