If we lose either of our current QB recruits, the blame lies solely on Orgeron. Offering Tua, and now making a run at Thompson, is something I just don't understand.

What is wrong with offering Tua and Thompson?
I get that Narcisse and Brennan are already committed, I just don't understand why ANY program in the country would limit their exposure to not include highly capable recruits at a position of need.

Think of it from Brennan's point of view. It clearly shows what offense orgeron wants to run which obviously doesn't suit Brennan..

I don't think it does. Let's take Kiffin's offense for example; he's used pocket passers and mobile qbs and has been successful with both. The offers mean nothing as far as type of offense goes. The qb that can effectively distribute the ball and makes good decisions will ultimately get the nod.

bass, you obviously have never been intimately involved in the recruiting process to make that statement. The coaching staff should have at the very least shown a degree of respect to the players that remained committed through the shite storm that is LSU coaching for the last five months. Instead the HC is all over the place with what kind of offense and for that matter what kind of QB he wants going forward. You can't hold on to what ya got if you're always looking for something else and you're not sure what you want in the first place.

So you're telling me O just so happened to change his comments on which style of offense he wants to run and offered Tua coincidentally the same time O was trying to pull Kiffin?

From one fish to another. As an LSU fan we've had our boys from the backyard get out of our fox holes to join the enemy. You think that feels good? No, its heartbreak. We've had qb commit after qb commit leave us high and dry. So yeah, I feel like I have been intimately connected to the recruiting process. I'm a huge Myles Brennan fan, and I don't want him to leave. I don't know all that much about Narcisse because I know he's rehabbing. I just want LSU to have the best atheletes, what's wrong with that?

Coach O is going to hire a great offensive coordinator and everything will fall into place. The important thing right now is getting players who want to be LSU Tigers on the team.

LSU isn't in a position where they can pick and choose amongst the best QBs in the country. We are lucky enough to even have Brennan and Narcisse on board after the shite we have seen in the past. So rather than attempting to pull of a 1 in a 1000 chance with Tua. Let's look after the ones who have stuck by us this whole time so we don't end up with no one

I hope you're right! I think hiring a good OC sooner rather than later would help recruiting.

You have arguably 2 of the top 10 HS QBs in the country solidly committed, and that's not enough?? I'm not sure if that's greed or idiocy.

I'm an Orgeron fan, but I'm starting to wonder if he has a clue what he plans on doing with his QB Recruits

Maybe that 3rd or 4th guy wants a chance too, it's not greedy to give others opportunities

Glorious how are Brennan and Narcisse solidly committed?

Narcisse visited Auburn a school he has been committed to as well as Memphis.

Brennan was solid but is now extremely questionable so LSU is kicking the tires on other QB's.

Neither are firm right now. LSU needs to be recruiting other qb's at this point at least until Narcisse is enrolled and the new OC firms things up with Brennan.
