Brandon Harris vs Anthony Jennings

Anybody thinking Harris can win the job and be the starter in 2014?
Also, I have seen a few posters saying they think Harris will be a red-shirt this year, any thoughts on that??
I personally believe AJ keeps the starting gig until maybe halfway through the season (maybe a loss or low production out of AJ) and then Harris will get a chance to start.
Would like to hear what others are thinking.

I'd vote unlikely. Jennings will have to have a really terrible year and I just don't see that happening.

Yeah when I saw the posts about him possibly being a red-shirt I was very confused ha wouldn't think Cam would hand pick a QB to sit him a year. But Ive been wrong before

It's not like Hayden Rettig is some chump. He could be the starter next year for all we know

This. He will have every chance in the spring to prove it. He has a cannon for an arm, has the smarts and he can run. Either way, I love the 3 QB's that we will be going to camp with. The future is very bright

I hope Harris gets to redshirt, likely means Rettig or Jennings are handling business.

I think Harris redshirts one, because he's not physically or mechanically ready to step in. Two, is that since Rettig redshirts, why would we need Harris to play any? Jennings can already run so it doesn't bring another dimension to the game, onnly more speed. I'd also feel that Rettig has a leg up with already a year of running Cam's system, to be Jennings back up.
My belief is that the only way Harris plays any, is because of injury. If they do play him any beyond that fact, they will likely have just wasted a year with a few garbage snaps.

What's the belief in this? If AJ is good, Rettig will be his back up to give Harris an extra year with the team. No reason to put Harris in on garbage snaps if he is not the immediate backup.
