Lol, one of the comments talking about it depends if he wants to play on a championship team like Texas or a 4th/5th place SEC team like LSU.

I remember one of the local sports talk guys preaching about, you thinking you've seen arrogance from a fanbase until you see a Texas fan's arrogance. That guy isn't the first one I've seen, and yes, the delusion is at an all time high. The SEC colluded to give Texas an easy SEC level schedule the first year, but don't let that crap go to their heads. It's completely different to play Bama one time early in the season when they are overhauling their team, than to play an entire SEC schedule where any given year you could have 3 top 15 teams in recruiting and football rankings.

TAMU in the early part of Sumlin's career would have also been a playoff level team playing in the Big 12. The SEC aint the Big 12.
