Just wait and see!

Your post is arguably calling a high school kid that has played one year of American football one of the greatest punters of all time.
It's absurd at this point in time.

I am talking about at this point in time...he is!
Wait until you see him! You will be happy! Again...if he was in the NFL...he would be ALL-PRO!
NO shite...why would I say BS about a punter? I don't have the words to express how good he really is!!!

The kicker, punter, QB, RB, DT, FS are usually the top 6 most important players on the field. If he can be a great one sign him. Next time we're back- up to punt in our end-zone with a 2 point lead, we want at 70 yard punt bad.

Lets slow down here. The kid is a freak of a punter, but you are gone over board, slow down. BTW his dad was a punter for the Detroit lions, maybe he will follow his dad foot steps.

Since he's an Aussie, does that mean he can automatically do that rugby style kick all the other teams seem to do these days?

Doesn't look like "Ray Guy", but a couple of his kicks looked good. One went from the 10 to the other 18, but the camera didn't catch how it got there...where it landed and how far it bounced, etc.

A great punter is worth his weight in gold. Are our fans so retarded that they are unable to realize that we most likely won a few games because of superior special teams play this year?

No one is saying a punter isn't worth anything but the comments about a punter being the best player on the team are ridiculous.
As for a punter being worth his weight in gold, Moorehead for the Saints has been absolutely miraculous at flipping field position this year.

This.
Notes about the video:
1) It's slowed down to emphasize hang time
2) The deep snapper sucks
3) His accuracy is what separates him from the hundreds of other punters that can boom kicks.

He is flipping field position on a couple of those kicks. He also had a couple nice pooch punts on that video.

Another thing you can take from that video is the time it takes him to get the punt off is very very impressive. That seperates him also.

Even on those high snaps.

Flask, his hangtimes are usually around 4-5 seconds.
This past week when Parkview was practicing in the indoor facility, Wing was consistently hitting the roof on punts and one of the coaches, who's a friend of mine, said he punted a ball from the goalline, it hit the roof and fell straight down at the 50...so no telling how far the ball would have gone.
I understand we all hate punters basically, but the kid is really really legit.

Remember the last time we had a lefty punting the ball? I believe Donnie Jones is still punting in the League. He was the best I have seen from LA.

I don't hate punters.
I don't hate giving them scholarships.
What I hate is having 5 scholarship kickers on the team. Kickers aren't that hard to project. Pick up one every few years and be done with it.

I agree 100%. I questioned the offering of Helton big time last year and looks like I wasn't an idiot after all.
