like a punter needs a list of d1 schools,he sounds legit.his avg,and stats will tell all.I wonder how is he off the tee.
Maybe if you had clicked the link you would have seen that he had no offers from anyone. At all.

You do know that the punter lines up like 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage. So if he is kicking it 60 in warm up, that would be a 45 yard punt

This is true. Oh well I may have got carried away, but the kid has got a great leg and great hang time. And is very capable of 60 yards or more.

Flask, how can you leave this? Admit you would miss it.

I go to the PBS games and this kid is easily a Div1A punter. He consistantly punts 60plus yards and in pressure situations delivers. Againest Acadiana backed up in the endzone delivered a 75 yard punt and pooch kicks accurately time and again. He also does kickoffs but is very inconsistant on those. Like the guy said above, his potentital is through the roof, lots of raw ability.
Note: his average may be lower due to his pooch kicks. PBS rarely punts and a lot of times he is brought in to pooch kick.
I know a little bit about the kid. His ambition is to be a punter at the next level and eventually punt in the NFL. His dad was an NFL punter. He is a very hard worker and is athletically gifted. I've seen him deliver a couple of awesome hits after the punt. He is not afraid to go after the runner. He does have several colleges looking at him. This is his first year to punt as he is from Australia and he specifically came to the US to get an opportunity to punt. Because it's his only year to play American football, he is unknown to college coaches. He will get offered by many as more become aware of him. I know the LSU coaches have talked to him but are limited on what scholarships they have left. Whether they offer is up in the air.

Why would he move to Baton Rouge just so he could punt?

guess this guy wasn't such a crock after all...

LSUcrawfish is telling the truth! This kid is the real deal...AMAZING!
If he was in the NFL right now he would be the second best punter in the league! Behind Shane Lechler of the Raiders!
I am not a relative and I do not go to Parkview...but I have met him, his parents, and I will be in the dome next week! If he were to join LSU for the bowl game he would easily be the best player on the team...and Patrick Peterson is a future Hall of Famer if he keeps his head straight!
He might even be better than Rey Guy when its all said and done...NO KIDDING!

He'll probably get a written offer next week.
I assume he'll commit within a couple days of receiving it.

This is one one the most absurd posts I have ever read on this board--even if Wing is a solid punter.

Yeah, cause the punter is usually in the top 5 most valuable players on the team, right?
