You can try to twist it or spin how you want to, his pops has been a UGA fan for a long time.
But how many of us have kids that want to set out on their own path without being labeled “daddy’s boy”.
The Mannings come to mind. Randy Moss comes to mind. Then there’s that Jason Taylor fella who had a kid.
Not sure if that counts as twisting or spinning, but many kids seem to want to be their own man. It’s a good thing.

Some times these kids are just early developers and don't improve much from their early years. Will be interesting to watch
Yep, I played football against a kid in the 7th or 8th grade who (seemingly) had beard coming in and just dominated the competition. He was bigger and stronger than everyone out there. If there was ever someone who was going to be a college player he was it... Then, a decade later, by happenstance through a mutual friend, I played golf with him and he was a good 4-5 inches shorter than me (and I'm not that tall). I think he literally grew an inch or two since 8th grade. That's it.
I'm not saying this kid is going to plateau in the 9th grade...but it's not all that uncommon to see that happen.

Even UGA fans haven’t been UGA fans for a long time.
There's an entire state(4th largest recruiting base in the country by the way) that has a healthy share of UGA fans pre-Kirby. Winning brings bandwagoners but that doesn't mean there aren't die hards.
LSU has its own rather large group of "fans" that bandwagon from week to week depending on the result and some bitch nonstop making me wonder are they fans or casual human internet "bots" that just incite the narrative on a game to game basis win or lose. 2019 was the ultimate bandwagon team with a healthy share of Orgeron haters that jumped aboard long enough for their hate O narrative to come back to the forefront. But of course it's always them but never us.

Its actually really common, other kids catch up as they start to mature.
I shot up from 5-10 to 6-2 from SO to JR year of HS.

i agree with your premise in general, but when a kid shows they have the height/weight/speed/aggression to play early in such a high class, its just one of those predictors of future success. doesnt guarantee he'll be a stud at the SEC level, but its a likely indicator of success

This.
It wasn’t like he was just a massive body dominating much smaller kids like Freak Johnson.
He has prototypical safety size and measurables as a freshman. His dad is a big dude, so he way continue to grow.

I think he ends up an OLB by the time it's said and done. 6'2 or 6'3 and 215 when he's a senior. And he will be dynamite at that position.
That's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

One of the top Cornerbacks in the class of 2026 will be on display at University High this year as he was ineligible to play varsity as a freshman this past year!!!!

This is bullshite. UGA is a great program with a great following for more than a century. Did LSU fans all jump on board after Saban got it going? No! We were here for over a century, just like UGA fans.

Georgia brought both Bradford boys on a recruiting trip.
Jacob is 2026
Blaine is 2027
I don’t know if that means you need to take both but you may have to..
Jacob is no slouch as a CB and a great kid.
