The fact that Jackson and Arenas are even in the nfl is a tribute to how great Saban is at recruiting and developing db talent.Dre Kirkpatrick was an undisciplined headhunter in high school that got beat as many times as he got interceptions. He is now one of the best cover corners in the game and will excel at the next level. Milner is right behind him as draftable talent. And so on and so on.

The frick? Dre Kirkpatrick was a unanimous 5* top 25 national recruit. LOL at the notion that Saban molded him into anything. Additionally, LSU has guys who were much less heralded coming from HS who are now better players than DK.

Saban is good but Cooper is THE BEST in the business. If you are a defensive backs (Tracy Howard) and wanting to get learn from the best, u want to be coached by Cooper. Raw talent with proper coaching by Cooper gets u into the pros.

As far as I'm concerned the last 2 5* safeties we signed , Chad Jones and Craig Loston never lived up to the hype. and we've been just fine without them
You watch your whore mouth when speaking of chad jones

I knew I'd get that, but what evidence is there that Saban is a good position coach?
The last play of the LSU vs Iowa game in the Cap one bowl?

Yea, because Saban only got LaRon Landry, Corey Webster, Travis Daniels, Randall Gay, Ryan Clark and Roman Harper to the NFL as DBs.
Miles has Criag Steltz, Chevis Jackson, Patrick Peterson and Chad Jones.
As you can see, Miles is miles ahead of Saban in getting DBs to the next level.
You're right...Collins is the big loser.
The common denominator in this post is LSU.
Is Saban pumping out DBs at the same rate at Bama? I have no idea.
I do know that LSU is home to the 2010 & 2011 Thorpe and Bednarik Award Winners.

Jackson will not be in the NFL very long. Arenas is a project. No tributed needed.
Kirkpatrick and Milliner would be going to the league from Troy St. Did Saban give birth to them or something?
And if you're going to be a Bama Fan, learn how to spell your players' names.

Saban is only as good as his talent. It sucks that he gets the number one class every year

I think it's funny that getting top players out of Mississippi lately is a lost cause

He wants to go to Bama what is so wrong about wanting to play for someone else
There is nothing wrong with it. It is his right to choose any school he wants. Louisiana athletes choose OOS schools every year.
It is the manner and spectacle of the Landon Collins recruitment which upsets people.
He went out of his way to embarrass LSU. It will not be forgotten anytime soon by LSU fans.
I wish him Godspeed...he should stay in Alabama. I don't want him to be a Tiger. He has proven himself unworthy.

I hadn't seen very much of Collins first hand until last night. From what I saw, the guy is a very good athlete, but maybe a little light between the ears. Bama's gain, our loss, or maybe not.

Again it will be Florida, if Howard comes to LSU. My buddy there now admits it is close.
