re: Better potential as a deep threat? Dupre or Noil.

Reggie Wayne is a good one. Buster Davis is also a good comparison when I think of LSU receivers. He did everything well, never dropped balls, had enough speed to get behind the defense, same size as Quinn. Bowe and Doucet were more "athletic" similar to how people view Dupre and Noil compared to quinn, but I always considered Davis to be the most reliable of that bunch.

I'd put Noil in the slot and let him eat the opposing teams D up. You really think a nickel back or a LB is keeping up with this guy? No. Way.

Dupre has the better potential because of his size, and vertical, but Noil isn't a bad deep ball option either because he can really jump. Wasn't his vertical like 45 or something?

I don't think I've seen Quinn compared to a WR who is not white.
He's been compared to Josh Reed, Reggie Wayne (outside of this thread), Victor Cruz, Fitz, Roddy White, et al.

Yeah, it was a Nike SPARQ measurement though. They have a funky way of measuring vert's. Kid still gets high though.

I also see Quinn as a outside receiver, our future will be Malachi and Quinn on the outside and Noil in the slot making some insane miss matches

I would pay good money to see Quinn, Noil, LF, and Tony Brown race

Me too. I am not sure the results would be what many would expect. I know they all ran the 40 at LSU last summer, and those results were interesting.

Just curious, why do I always only see these guys discussed as deep threats, but not Quinn? I know Quinn is shorter (but still 6'1") but if reports are accurate he is just as fast or faster. Most of the film I've seen on him includes him getting behind the defense on deep passes.
Not flaming, just curious. I think he is more than just a slot receiver (cue Wes Welker comparison).
b/c he's white.

Id take Tony Brown in a 50 yard race. LF in a hundred yard race. And LF out weighs the rest by at LEAST 20-25 lbs. Beast.
