Best LSU recruiting class ever?

Talent wise that is, I know with the numbers we can't beat a couple of other ones. What do you guys think?
Sheppard
Ruban Randle
Jamarkus McFarland
Chris Davenport
Craig Loston
are all legit possibilities, the O-line coming in looks incredible. The Running backs look incredible. This could be a class people talk about for years. If I were a 3rd string deep snapper, I would just quit drinking in fear of a fight or some shite.

Yes this could go down as one of the best recruiting classes ever based on who we could sign.
I like our chances on the big 4 left.

I'm sure there are some monsters we have a shot with, that I didn't even name. Sounds like Ford is a 5 star talent as well.

I keep watching Pratt, and the more and more I see him, the more impressed I get. And now he's like 230!!! Beast!

Big fan of Pratt as well. Supposedly, Michael Brockers is up to 270 now(another Tyson Jackson).

Oh yeah!!! Brockers has even longer arms and a better 1st step than Tyson did at the same age it appears to me. To me Pep is almost an exact replica of Tyson, but with a bit more speed.

-Connor does not even list Alabama and lists Mississippi State high interest
-Patrick Lewis does not have an Alabama offer
-Jonathan Stewart does not list Alabama
-Barrow does not list Alabama
-Tahj Jones does not list Alabama
-Ricky Johnson does not list Alabama
-DJ Banks does not list Alabama

I'm still partial to the class that put LSU back on the map:

Wilkerson

Add Wilkerson to that list.

Done.
I'm going to have a hard time ever ranking a class ahead of the '01 class. IMHO, you can trace the resurgence of LSU Football as a National Power back to the signing of that class.

I'm not exactly sure if this class will beat out the 07 class. 5 stars or not, the 07 class was a fricking monster.

For me, it's not the big names and star rating in this class but how Miles and Company are filling the gaps. He is starting to scare some fold.

Recruiting classes are one thing. Delivering on the field is another.
It's about ants and needs. People should stop worrying about the # guys signed and our "total points"!!!
Anyone can sign 32 players and have a 3.5 average.
Sign 23-34 players, get our targets with a 4.20 ranking (LSU nails the Randle, Davenport et al.)
Miles willhave completed 4 years of recruiting with about a 3.75 average-- 110 players.
And that would in fact be the best recruiting EFFORT in LSU history. And yes, the classes would be higher than Sabans.
Let's see how they turn out thereafter. I don't think LSU needs to crow about winning a "recruiting championship"
