Okay, very good, got it now. So here are my humble and very shaky picks:
Here are my entries in Bubba's contest. Since I am absolutely not in the know except for what I read on this board, I have made my picks based on a combination of intuition, mis-placed logic, and some serious juju/mojo.
1. Jarrel Martin
2. Jordan Mickey
3. David Taylor
4. Odoh
5. Sam Forest
If we get these guys then I think we will be number 16 on Rivals list.
Although not required I am also posting my list of who I think we will not get:
1. Damion Jones
2. Bridgewater
3. Karviar Shepherd
4. Kendal Smith
5. Isaiah Lewis
And because I have a bug up my you know, the if the rug falls out from under us list.
1. Zach Coleman
2. Ryan Hammink
3. Nick Hammink
4. Jared Sam
5. Sam Forest
Yeah, I know, Sam Forest is on two lists. I figure he is the guy not many people will want and I think Johnny wants to sign five, so we will take him. Likewise if the wheels fall off I still think he will be there for us to still take.

Good list. Sam Forest is a kid I don't know much about. Need to look into him a little more.

I couldn't find any info on this guy from my phone. Is LSU interested in him?

Don't know. Point guard from Southern Lab. Did real well at a camp in Houston recently.

As far as commitment schedules go, Jordan Mickey and Karviar Shepherd have said they will decide in the fall and sign in November during the early signing period. Jarell Martin has said he will definitely wait until the spring. I don't know a time period for other recruits yet, such as Damien Jones or Bridgewater.

Another note is that BRCC is looking for an explosive season from John Isaac and expects LSU to re-recruit him.
That surprises me for two reasons: 1. I don't really expect LSU to sign a shooting guard, unless it is an elite player. 2. The new staff really doesn't have a relationship with Isaac.
It looks to me like we are set at guard, beyond possibly signing a point guard this season. It really depends on what kind of season Morgan and Collins have. Is Collins a true point, or is he more of a SG/CG?
Is Hammink skilled enough to play some guard?
Isaac will definitely sign in the spring, so he could be a fall-back at the shooting guard position, if that ends up being a position of need.

I'd love that class. Just don't see how we can get Martin, Mickey, and Jones

Edit and put the Rivals rank for tiebreaker.
Thanks for playing.

The way I see it, we need all the front court help we can get. And Mickey is small enough where he can slide down to play SF. Add in JOB potentially leaving this year, and we will definitely push for, and take all three.

jarrell martin
jordan mickey
john odoh
deng deng
isaiah lewis
john isaac
if not isaac, delano spencer
i want to put taylor in there but it just seems so quiet on that front. lewis may be somewhat of a longshot but the fact that he has visited and that he is one of my favorite recruits leads me to include him.
edit - rank 17

You can edit it and/or change it as often as you like until Sept. 10. I will compile them all into one post to make them final.

Quick question on Mickey, who is his brother? Pardon my ignorance.
ETA: Nevermind. Its James Wright.

He said LSU was recruiting him last year at the international Jordan Brand game, but that was before Johnny Jones was hired.
Johnny played with and coached his father, so if he's good enough, I would assumed LSU would take him. The question is if he is good enough, and also if he wants to play college basketball as opposed to going pro in Europe.
He's currently ranked No.13 in his age group in all of Europe. That's pretty impressive to me. That's about what Shane Hammink was ranked.
