Yeah he has been special teams player of the week several times, returns punts and caught a td in the NC game. He's been a great addition to the team.

The running back from destrehan you have a point, but Bolden was going to be a take for either us or them no matter what he chose. Dudes a good football player

I don't believe Bolden was a take for LSU at the time. Could be wrong, but LSU and Alabama both had a shitty recruiting class in 2018.

Slade Bolden, from WEST Monroe,

Get this shite out of here. No one outside of west monroe cares about these little turf battles. People from Monroe don't even care.

The AREA is Monroe. Just like in cities and towns all over the world, people are generally considered from the largest area they are near. No one cares about every little burg and village.

Exactly, Bolden was a 3 star player and was the 495th ranked player in Nation his senior year.

Bama didn't exactly steal him from LSU.

He had a commitable offer from LSU. He was state player of the year and 18th ranked player in the state of Louisiana. So in a way they certainly did.

The difference was that LSU told him up front he was a RB/slot receiver and Bama said they would try him at QB. He has gotten in as a QB in goal line packages as early as his true freshman season, so at least they didn't lie. Good kid, and glad to see him succeeding. Still would have liked to have seen him at LSU, but that's life.

3 stars and 495th ranked player in the Nation...

Nick has gotten players LSU has really, really wanted over the past decade or more, Slade was not one of them.

And if Slade had signed with LSU instead of Bama, he’d have the same number of rings.
