This kid is the real deal. She is a big girl but with a very athletic build. Watched her play in the state tournament this year. She absolutely crushed 2 off of the Belle Chase pitcher (who is a legitimate D-1 prospect) and crushed one in the championship game off of the Teurlings pitcher (another legitimate D-1 prospect). Also saw her pick off 3 Belle Chase base runners from her knees. My brother-in-law saw her play this past weekend in South Carolina at a qualifier tournament and he said she dropped 2 or 3 bombs on SEC calibur pitchers in that tournament. Regardless of whether Alabama or ULL is after her, I hope that Beth is doing everything possible to see that she ends up wearing purple and gold. It would be great if we can convince this type of talent to stay in-state.

Can't speak for her, but why the interest in Bama? I can see her staying home to go to ULL, but LSU has a lot more to offer than Bama, especially for educational purposes! Gumps! That is all you need to know about Bama!

Saw where she said UL is her favorite team in the Lafayette sports section today. Beth has work to do...

Those words have to be twisted, because in another interview not long ago she said LSU was her favorite. Still a long time till signing day, whether she's leaning one way or the other, it could go either way!! A trip to the CWS this year could change things

My brother-in-law spoke with her dad at a tournament a few weeks ago. The impression that my B-I-L got was that that the family is pretty neutral right now. The dad believes that it is kind of early for any type of recruiting talk. They are just going to play travel ball this summer and maybe go to some camps. Can somebody please make sure to remind Beth to send them a flyer about any upcoming LSU camps!

Beth Torina is not going down without a fight for BH, lets see how it plays out...isn't she a soph next year?

Now...we got a commitment from a CA stud, this year, and she is a sophomore, why not this young lady, sounds like she is from solid stock.

Torina's coaching connection to professional softball players gives her a great deal of credibility and those pro's are probably connecting her to top recruits and since Bailey is 50+ miles from LSU, you KNOW BT and staff are prudently recruiting this young outstanding power player, this young lady is SPECIAL.

Do you think she go to college or go high in the draft and go pro?
