Now we have been waiting for this Boom that so many posters expect any day now, which could result in some highly ranked commits.
This is yet another theory as to when those flood gates will open & LSU will get several verbal pledges, making it 16 or 17 commitments perhaps.
Are you sure this time? I do think a commitment from Harris would be a great boost to the staff and fans alike.

As much as I want this to be true I just don't think it is. The problem (its not really a problem)is that the recruits we are going after this year are so highly sought after that most will not be making their decisions until the all star games. I believe some of them are being pressured to not commit by Under Armor or ESPN or whoever. That way there is more drama on NSD. I would be shocked if we have 15 commits by the start of High School Football. We will have the best recruiting class ever for LSU football but there wont be a bunch of early commits this year.

I don't know why the Harris commitment would carry so much weight, we have two different highly ranked QBs on roster that most of these recruits will play with the majority of their careers. I don't think it changes much if we get his commitment.

Momentum as Red pointed out plus the fact that Harris has publicly stated how he will be a recruiter for the class. This intangible is the most important to me. He is already cool with a ton of prospects we are after and this only helps our situation.

Thanks for stopping by and we appreciate the input. Regardless, I think White is a nice consolation prize. We wouldn't have had one if the tables were turned.
I think if this weren't Mahlzahn's first year, Harris may have chosen them. Anyways, feel free to swing by again.

I think he was alluding to what Harris said on twitter about AU having nothing to worry about, wasn't there a mystery QB visiting the same weekend he was?

Sean White was visiting and came and left without an offer. But the GIVEN is that if Harris selects LSU, 5 seconds later White's cellphone will ring and Malzahn will be on the line.
