Lache grew up an LSU fan...is from Louisiana...how in the Heck does he almost end up at Auburn? Seriously?

Thanks. Yeah I understand where the fustration comes from over Collins. I understand the hypocrisy (though I don't think there are any sites that say Florence is 100% Auburn). What I'm trying to get posters to realize is recruits cater to their audience and it doesn't matter what they say right now. It matter what they say on NSD. I don't know any of these players so I can't tell you what % chance Auburn has at landing anybody. The recruit and people close to them know who has a shot and who doesn't. I know a couple of years ago, LSU fans and Florida fans thought they had a shot at landing Trent Richardson even though he had been committed to Alabama the whole time. Especially after he visited BR. I recall there were rumors that he had decommitted from Alabama. I can image using the same standard being apply to Auburn, Alabama fans were fustrated with LSU fans. My point is every fanbase tend to disregard the reality at times when it comes to blue chip players. Every school wants to believe they can get any player they want though they know that's not reality. But thank you for elaborating on the LSU viewpoint and at least considering mine.

Thanks. I'm sure if I changed my username and favorite team you would probably think otherwise. But I'm sure you are not biased...

Why did he end up at Oregon and not LSU is a better question if he grew up a LSU fan? Especially is Born is right when he said Lache detected some shadiness at Auburn and turn away from them. Why did he turn away from LSU also?

The reason most LSU fans are irritated with you AU posters is:
You all werent here when your team sucked.
You seemed to have cheated your way to the NCG.
No one thinks this injustice is right when it comes to other schools gaining that big of an unfair advantage.
The only thing we can take comfort in is:
When the NCAA pulls their heads out of their asses and sees this opens a very large even monumental clusterf%#$ of cases they will have no way of controlling and may indeed change the way every college program thinks about recruiting.
Then slaps AU with sanctions like that of SC and their Band of Merry Cheaters.
At worst you dont have $$$ Newton next year and you go back to the mediocirty that is "Auburn Football."
Eat your cake now.....next year you will eat crumbs.

I have no clue who will sign with Auburn. Since decommitting is so frequent these days, I'm not even sure we will keep everybody who is currently committed and supposed to be Auburn locks. I check this blogs out to see who Auburn is in the runnings for. Maybe you know Collins personally and may know Auburn has no shot. But since I've been reading TD Auburn has signed players that people said Auburn had not shot at. I know ya'll say that must mean we paid them. I don't know if Auburn pays players or not but if we did I'm sure LSU, UF, UA and others do that same. Gotta keep up with the Jones

Lache was a USC silent until Carroll left. When Kiffin came in, who his mom did not like, he dropped USC and decided to go to Oregon, whose offense he thought fit his style of play. Those are the facts of the situation

So you are saying that since you school is doing everything by the book and not breaking/bending rules (improper benefits), it's not fair that Auburn is breaking/bending rules? I guess Auburn fans aren't the only fans with blinder on when it comes to their program.

sorry usc I don't think you can call anything a fact when saying you had a "silent commit"
Posted on 12/24/10 at 10:17 am to augrad00
Well since you're an AU grad, then even you should be able to figure out that the minor infractions commited by LSU and probably 99% of all other SEC schools doesnt even come close to getting Cam Newton to take basically any SEC school (save Vanderbilt) to the NCG.
Really, did Cecil Newton buy your diploma too?

Does he really mean that much to you? He's just a high school kid man! You seem to be a regular on TD and I don't even post often (meaning I might not post even if Auburn gets him). I'm trying to get some of you to see the forest. And that forest is "every fanbase does what ya'll are fustrated with Auburn fans for doing". I'm not trying to participate in a "who gets Collins" competition. Good luck man! I hope LSU gets Collins for your sake. You sound like you might go suicidal if they don't.

He said in an interview that he was going to USC before Carroll left fwiw.
quote:
“He had a vision,” Seastrunk says, of his father. “He said he had a dream one night. And he saw me in an all-white (Ducks) uniform. I was like ‘OK.’ And I kind of blew it off for a minute. But that’s when Pete Carroll left (as USC coach), and I didn’t want to go to USC anymore. And all my other schools just kind of faded away. Auburn stopped talking to me. I don’t know why.”
THe whole article is pretty interesting

No I just think its ridiculous your site puts a guy at a 55% chance of landing who not only just have an interview saying he's 100% LSU, but just skipped out on an AU trip to attend LSU bowl practice all week. But then again idiots like yourself drink the kool aid and say "yeppers guessin we got us a shot, better re up my sub" so I guess they have their reasons.

since when does minor infraction result in a school voluntarily giving up scholarships? But I'm not trying to debate that point. I think 99% of major programs are doing shady shite (including my alma mater). That's just want I believe. I can't prove it.
how could Cecil buy my diploma if he was asking for money? Did that make sense to you when you typed it?
