Because there are like 8 all-american games now.

He, Loston, and SEVERAL others are in the Under-Armor game

I just looked at the Under-Armor rosters and I don't see how the Army game can even compare.

They literally have almost every HUGE stud in the country.

the real story is why the hell is Micheal Ford not invited to play in either one of the games ... it blows my mind

I'd guess some of it is politics and some is high profile schools.

i think it was. i personally like the AAA setup better. more visually pleasing, more organized, and i have no preference about the UA vs russel athletic debate. looks the the UA game is the future, i just hope they step their game up and make a better game than last years

Army all-american game has turned into a joke, too many overhyped Notre Dame kids

Why would the Army game want a kid who is fifth in the nation in rushing yards, a Rivals100 player, a good student, role model, and mentor to younger African American kids, does all the right things, respected in his community AND LIVES IN AN ARMY TOWN?

Shep will already be enrolled at LSU in January! can't play a high school game if you're not in high school.

Actually MANY of the early enrollees play in the All Star games and then go off to college.

He IS in the UA / ESPN game. That game IS stepping it up. Here are some of the improvements.

1) It will be held in the Citrus Bowl this year (instead of some dinky HS field)
2) It will he televised Sunday night 8pm Eastern. AFTER the 2 NFL wildcard games.
3) They are adding a combine to the event (helps with continuity and development)
4) ESPN has more money than god and will hype this game non-stop for the week before the game, they also show 2 hours of the practices and competitions daily in the week leading up to the game.

This game is already the premier event in just its second year. That gap should continue to widen.

I mean where do you wnat to be the first week of the year? San Antonio or Orlando? No brainer right?

Ford was invited to play in an All-Star game in Hawaii. I think it's called Mainland vs. Hawaii or something to that effect. It's in late December.
