Agreed!

The Army has always been better. It's always been the premier game. The UA game came along just to promote ESPN's shitty recruiting service.
Agreed!

The production does seem to be much better. I only saw part of the second half, but it seems that the players do seem to be a bit classier ( except for the guy that threw a punch right there in the last minute.
Do you actually think that it has to do with the type of people they are around and the way things are handled at the Army AA Bowl versus the Under Armor? Not as much showboating, trash talking, and oddly, it seems like the recruits are much more well-spoken than some of the mouthbreathers on the UA game.

The Army has always had the premiere game/players, but the production & broadcast announcers have been pure shite & hardly watchable until today.
They used to have Tom Lemming gushing over Notre Dame players, then interviewing Mike Golic, then talking about Weis, or Brian Kelly, then talking about the forecast for the Irish season.
Then they'd have 4 minute interviews with corporate people or celebrities or the HS band director while the game was going on, and then would go to a commercial break.
Then they'd have random camera angles of the ceiling or the underneath of a gatorade table in the middle of a play.
Then when they did pay attention to the game & call the play, they might name the guy who caught the ball but not the guy who tackled him. And if it were an Irish commit, they'd just get off track all over again.
Now, with a pro like Burmeister (from the NFL Network) doing play-by-play, and with the professional camera work, and the classier structured announcement segments, the new NBC Army game broadcast is finally worthy of being King of the HS All-Star game productions.

I think the UA game is making the Army game better too; Before the UA game, the Army game had to take all the top guys since it was really the only real allstar game. You had to take guys like Pryor; now those flash guys seem to end up going to the UA game and Army can take the guys they wan too

My thoughts exactly and .......is it me or does the Under Armour Bowl seem to have a very high amount of players from Alabama and Florida?

It deserves its own thread but I just want to say Barry Sanders Jr seemed like a great kid.
Barry Sr raised him level headed and down to earth apparently, good pickup for Stanford

UA game is like an entertainment circus while the Army game is more traditional and about the kids. I enjoy the Army game better, and wish ESPN hadn't come in and took some kids away from that game. The UA is really unnecessary IYAM.
