2020 WR out of St Aug. Tyrann’s cousin. He’s staring to pick up offers after lighting up a few camps to go with good film. Probably gonna be a riser in the rankings.

I say we should accept any Mathieu with open arms.

Yes, I call that a double legacy, because Tyrann was so damn good.

He did really well at Opening NOLA. I am willing to bet he may get an offer here soon. Will be interesting how the offers flow after our camp during the summer.

We'd have to lose a commit or 2 and miss horribly. Moore and Douglas would get offered first then the OOS kids come into play as well.

He's a solid prospect but camps like those fit skill sets of kids with high effort and drive.

High effort and drive on the field (along with absurd instincts) are what defined his older cousin as one of the greatest football players in our program's history.

Just sayin'.

He wasn't some elite athlete with crazy size/speed tangibles. He was just a football player.

Agree completely but he also was a much better athlete that Khi is at an entirely different position. There was and will only be one Tyrann Mathieu. Just a different kid entirely.

Wasn't meaning to say I would disagree with taking him just laid out the current status of him getting offered. There are better talents out there committed and on the board. We aren't taking a class full of wrs.

Who would've taken Justin Jefferson? In fact many threw a fit when we did. Look at him now. I have no issues with Mathieu just think he's far down the board.

Coached and scouted for 40 years and never saw football instincts like St Aug’s number 13 had.

Just saying... But have you watched any film of Derek stingley yet? God isn't that kids copilot, it's his damn captain. There is no way a 17 year old human child should be able to play like he does... And yes tyrann mathieu was a monstee DB. But I really think stingley will blow past him and PP7 as LSUs best DB ever!
