Im guessing the coaches did not just take the kids word that his school won't let him sign early, especially since we see others from his class signing. I am sure they have contacts at the school and are well aware of what is going on. That said, I hope they pull this kid in

The Kid was wearing LSU gear just 2-3 days ago on Instagram. He consistently has said he is a firm commit.
The story for a long time now was that his school holds one major signing day event and thus if a kid wants to do the normal signing at school in front of his peers, he must wait until then. They don't disrupt school and do it multiple times.
However, that does not prevent a kid from signing outside of school. The big difference is the kid does not get his 15 mins of spotlight at school if he signs early on his own. Most kids want that experience and I am sure many parents want that for their kids.
The people coming here saying he is a liar need to grow up a little. It is really not that hard to understand.

I know today is the day for overreactions, both good and bad, but maybe he did sign and kept it quiet but is holding off on the ceremony because his school asked him to (his teammates didn't sign at a school ceremony, they did their own thing).
Or maybe we should give the benefit of the doubt to a kid who wears nothing but LSU gear, posts positive stuff about us and has never wavered.
Or maybe we would start 67 threads about how he's gone and it might actually help push him away.
All I'm suggesting is a reasonable, measured response. Which, I'm afraid, is too much to ask.

Personally, I choose to believe that he is helping us out with Burton, if that is indeed true about Burton saying RakJar or himself.... Hold off as long as he can and get Burton in the bag. Now I certainly hope that is not true about Burton, but if it is, maybe the kid is doing all he can to help out LSU.
