Anybody know the true number of cruits we can take this year

I know we are up to 21 but I think jaquan griffin will flip to Tennessee

Think he will as well. Think that works in our favor with keeping Anderson. But wasn't it 28 or 29?? And might lose one more guy to decommit

I'm not sure but I'm hoping it's 27-28 because we need the spots. I don't think it's over with Justin Rodgers. I agree I think Anderson will stick well I hope

Yeah it seems that way but hopefully the relationship with Key, meatball and O will bring him to LSU for good. Think he's one we eventually swing

The numbers that I have read on several sites have said 26/27.
That is why I have made several comments about numbers.
Yes we will probably have 2 or so decommitments but numbers will get tight

It was 29 at one point. Then LSU added 2 TT players, Randy Moss's Son, and the youngest Jefferson. How do they affect numbers?

At least 3 of those will be on scholarship that is why my number was 26.
I have not seen whether Justin Jefferson will be on scholarship or not.

So he counts towards the 105, but not 85?

The transfers count against the 85 total beginning this year, they will not count against the 25 at any point.

What about early enrollees? Can they drive that number higher? Obviously you can only have 85/105 period.

It didn't change. You can only be an initial counter one time in a sport.

Even if we lose Anderson, another guy will step in and take that spot and the coaches will find some freak athlete out there regardless. It's the Patrick surtains of the world I'm much more worried about getting in this class. We've got the linemen on the defensive side almost wrapped and the o line is coming along. The skill guys are the last really big fish we have yet to reel in so far.

Jeffery Johnson out of MS and Richard jibunor are two guys to watch! Jeffery Johnson is going to announce soon and RJ would come if offered and pressured no doubt! Freak athlete will be very very good!!
