That Arkansas and Oregon are not even ranked in the top 40 on Rivals recruiting site. Hell, Arkansas is not even in the top 60. What's gives ? (not that I give a rats arse about Arkansas football other than us having to play them every year). Just found it strange having schools like Houston, Duke and Kansas getting better players.

Oregon, yes. I know they don't have incredible instate talent or depth, but they typically recruit all over the West pretty well. I'm sure Chip and the NCAA may have a little to do with it this year.

Arkansas, no. With the way Petrino then the JS coaching fiasco went down, I'm surprised they aren't dead last

Anybody else find it strange that this is posted on an LSU Recruiting board when it has nothing to do with LSU Recruiting? I couldn't resist

Actually thought about that, but then I remember all the questions on here about why Ole Miss was recruiting so well.
Signed,

I was thinking about that myself. The wierd thing about Arkansas is that it feels like it's always been that way, even when they were winning

Yeah, but Arkansas doesn't run an offense where you can hide your talent problems anymore.

If they can't get the recruiting ball rolling.. they are screwed.

Arkansas never really recruits that well (outside of the state), and the offseason debacle last season certainly didn't help matters.

They'll get no sympathy from me. Here's to a very pronounced downturn for the swine.

Especially now that we have to deal with A&M every year.

Makes you wonder what the hell Bielama (sp) was thinking.

Petrino's system can work with lesser talent as long as QB, WR, and TE are smart enough to learn it. The Beliema system is more like Bama and LSU. That shite won't work with weak arse talent.

For all you Miles haters out there, this is what happens when you turn over your head coach. There is a reason "coach stability" is a recruiting pitch on NCAA 13.

If you don't believe my logic, talk to a Vol fan...

I always try to tell people this but whatever.

Arkansas is not surprising. program was in shambles and JLS was a horrible recruiter. Steve Caldwell was their only decent recruiter.

Oregon is a little surprising under Chip they were always in the top 25 I feel like. They wont get many more recruits probably will lose some now
