So much craziness in this thread. I can't beleive Curtis Johnson would turn down a starter because the kid didn't look at them when he wasn't even a coach. How would he even know if Tulane contacted him or if the kid was interested in the first place.
I'd imagine the transfer rules and being able to play this year instead of having to wait another year is the main reason.
Also, I don't know where the Jenkins' rumor is coming from. He's right there for that third spot and he will see PT this year for sure.

I hope he stays but I could see him saying that he is 4th on depth roster and will be 3rd next year unless both starters (both underclassmen) go pro. that would be 3 years without being a starter and I could see how some kids would think thats too long. As I said, I hope he stays.
