Nope, running back, maybe D back.

I knew we would be taking one. Did not think it would be a big stud of any kind with Hill/Hilliard/McGee above him and Fournette in the waiting. This is a better quality running back than I thought we would get. No big stud, but very quality back who I think deserved the spot.

Runs stiffer than Blue does and isn't as fast
Blue is the smoothest runner on the team. What are you talking about?

Who is the lead recruiter here?

we offered this kid a long time ago, like before his jr year i think. solid get imo

I meant upright instead of stiff. Wilson will work on that. I guess they saw him recently to see how he runs after the injury

I assumed that's what you meant, but Blue runs upright as hell, like this kid.
I trust Frank to know a RB when he sees one, but still thinking he could take some reps at safety with that size and speed.

in Texas 5A at that, it'll be interesting to see how he does coming off the injury though. Had a nice offer list(bama, arky, nebraska, oklahoma, stanford, etc)

I love this pickup. Any time we get a legit guy from Texas I get excited. I wasn't sure whether or not we'd get a RB this year but I'm really happy we did. I only see his stock rising over the next year - it speaks volumes that he's acknowledged by the scouts as a top player with his injury taking away his last season.

ADAM TAYLOR COMMITS TO LSU
Kid is a STUD. We are getting a real good one here. If not for the knee injury last year, he would have a ton more hype.
Also, always awesome to get a kid out of Texas especially that are from that area.

I learned a long time ago not to question our coaching staff on who they offer and when. When those guys I've never heard of that are 2-3*s turn out to be the best players on our team it kinda makes you sit back and say, hey our coaches have forgotten more about football and gauging talent than I'll ever know so I just sit back and say Geaux Tigers after every commit. Welcome Adam Taylor! Geaux Tigers!

It's not really out of the blue. He has always said he wanted to be at lsu if he got the offer.

Good get. He tore up a very good league over there as a sophomore.

Agree with those pumping him up. He was very high on boards after his sophomore year and a guy that has been mentioned as a guy expected to blow up this spring when coaches saw him and his recovery. Kid's a stud.
He's been a guy near the top of our rb board for this class all year(only really 3 months, man this cycle seems like it's been going on forever). We just wanted to see him this spring to make sure he was back to his old form. Evidently he was.

I feel like shite because iv been watching old Marcus Dupree videos. So now I can't call a running back a stud anymore.
