A recruiting tidbit from Dandy's about Tory Carter's former teammate

In recruiting news, we’ve been talking about LSU’s 2018 class finishing with four of the following guys – CB Patrick Surtain, CB Mario Goodrich, S Kelvin Joseph, WR JaMarr Chase, and QB James Foster – but there’s another player to keep in mind as a possibility.
His name is Otis Reese and he’s currently committed to Michigan. Reese, the nation’s fifth-best outside linebacker and a former teammate of LSU fullback Tory Carter at Lee County High School in Georgia, announced yesterday that he will be taking an official visit to LSU before National Signing Day.

Early commit to Mich last year. Strong lean to UGA now. Doubt he qualifies academically.

If the coaches decide a linebacker will be better for the team than a defensive back it may be that they take him.
Lot of variables right now though. He may not want to come to LSU after his visit.

Kid almost committed to us a couple summers ago. Good player but i take the 4 on the board, if they want in, and don't look back.
No way we choose Reese over Goodrich. We have DBs leaving in multiples every year and depth at CB isn't exactly great. We are loaded with young LBs.
