While I do agree with this, should anyone shite where they eat?
Rantards here do it.
They have a great team that they support and then they tear down every aspect from coaching to players to recruits.

The thing that stuck out to me was that he had a very nice hang time, allowing his coverage to get to the returners who rarely had a chance at any return whatsoever.

He also had some pretty impressive "coffin corner" punts inside the five.

These are the things Les mentioned about Helton on NSD as well. Mentioned the exceptional hang time more than once last week.

I cant imagine we are that stupid to recruit this kid if he cant punt worth shite

I don't think it's as easy to recruit a punter as it seems, or we wouldn't be in our current predicament. And, let's face facts, our punting this year was awful about 80% of the time.

I wondered for 4 years why in the world we gave a scholarship to Fisher, and he saved our arse in some games his senior year, the only one where he played, or at least started. Most particularly, the championship game.

Good. Because without a guy like B.B., Kessler's very consistent punting, without a great leg, would have bit us in the behind.

I trust Les on the punter issue...I am sure he did his homework on Helton before offering a scholly...
