For the same reason Bama, Clemson, tOSU, etc lose commits. 17 and 18 year olds change their minds or have their minds changed by others - shite happens.

All the staff can do is keep digging - work to keep what we have and work to get more.

We’ll be fine.

That'd be outstanding, considering this isn't even truly a full recruiting cycle. 2024 recruiting class could challenge the #1 spot, if our staff keeps this momentum going.

There always seems to be 1 or 2, but we always seem to gain 1 or 2 last minute surprises as well. Regardless, it feels really good to feel relevant in blu chip recruiting again.
