Solid pick-up, no doubt. But I've been told by 3 of my aggy co-workers that so far the aggy recruiting class this year is "head and shoulders better" than Texas's. I understand drinking the kool-aide but these fools are bathing in it.
I realize sips like yourself need bright shiny objects in order to hold your attention for more than about ten seconds, so perhaps when Rivals puts together their ridiculous star ratings in a month or so you'll have the picture painted necessary for you to comprehend that indeed your asses will be handed to you in recruiting this year.

Mayhaw, I'm pretty sure Rivals uses Ketch's list to get their Texas rankings. Ketch overrates Texas commits. Don't be surprised when Texas is ranked ahead of us in the recruiting again. All that matters is A&M has been landing their first targets
Also, any recruit that chooses A&M over Texas is obviously using a street agent

That's completely inaccurate.
A&M struggled recruiting last year. Texas raided the state during their early recruiting days. A&M also started the season 3-3 and seemed to be headed for offseason coaching changes until they turned it around. They have recruited well but not great over the past decade and struggled at keeping the higher rated kids in the program during the Fran years. Frans recruiting classes were especially weak at OL and DL.
Sherman and staff have shown an ability to groom the talent that is on campus and have recruited well in the trenches. Building off of the decent season in 2010 and the problems in Austin, A&M is putting together a good class this year. Should they follow up this with success on the field (10 wins), they might prove to be finally coming out of their shell a bit in terms of a program primed to move into the upper echelon like they were during the 90s.

Most reasonable post on this thread.

Let me do some math here.
The SAT changed its scoring system in 2005.
So, the earliest you could have taken the SAT to get that score would be 2005.
Typically, 4 years for an undergrad degree and another 4 for a PHD.
2013, would be on time, yet you finished 2-3 years early?
Still no comment from this?

Why anyone would attend Texas A&M is beyond me.

13 commits now. Add Alonzo of Abbeville to A&Ms list and yes we are very excited Sherman is landing his first offers or his first tier players in his eyes

Big Kat,
He's probably just another Brandon Mitchell. Move along, nothing to see here.
