My pilot buddy would refer to that as a one five niner alpha mike.

His frame gives CR something to work with and at least he has a year of college experience if we get into a multiple injuries emergency. With the Pavia rule, I assume he has 4 years of eligibility.
This would be a guy that would be great to stick around, grind, and compete to start if all goes well in 3 years. But, dudes do that kind of grind these days or programs don’t give those guys a shot these days. Not sure which.

He was getting some decent offers.
There's definitely a chance that I'm just not looking in the right place, but from what I see, his offer list looks pretty unspectacular.
Based on 247 and his twitter, his only P4 offer besides us was Kansas State. After that, two best are Liberty and North Dakota State. Other than those, he got offered by
--Missouri State
--Charleston Southern
--Chattanooga
--East Texas A&M
--Eastern Kentucky
--Gardner Webb
--Murray State
--North Alabama
--Southern Illinois
--Wofford
--Prarie View A&M
For all I know this kid could be an absolute diamond in the rough--and maybe I'm just overlooking some bigger name schools--but that's NOT a great offer-list.

Serious Question:
If JUCO players arn't subject to the portal rules why arnt more projected top players leaving for major programs at this point in the year when springs are over and teams are scrambling to fill holes form injuries or whatever?
Feels like the could make a small cash grab.
