“LSU just got a commitment from five-star tight end Arik Gilbert, the No. 12 ranked prospect overall.
Gilbert chose LSU over Alabama and Georgia and is the No. 3 ranked prospect in the state of Georgia.”
“Gilbert is one of only three tight ends to have a five-star ranking, along with Darnell Washington in this 2020 class and Isaac Nauta in the 2016 class.”
“Gilbert told reporters he knew for about a month that he was headed to LSU, but let speculation build that Alabama and Georgia were fighting it out. He didn't even tell his parents where he was going.”
