With K. Joseph decommiting I feel that we need 2 Corner Backs in this class for a total of 3 DB's in this class.
I would be very pleased with any 2 out of the following 5 cb's:
1. Surtain
2. Cook
3. Campbell
4. Joseph
5. Green (currently committed to Texas)

I would take that trade all day Green is a baller and if Cook goes to Texas like most are predicting. I would love to reap the benefit if Green wants to jump ship and come here. Then if we can snag Surtain, wow! With the dbs for next year hopefully we can keep a strong presence with them.

I'm not a 247 subscriber but Shea posted post-visit updates on Cook and there's 22 replies with not one upvote, which normally means it's not a good outlook

Anyone know how we sit with Campbell? I would think Surtain would be recruiting him. He would be the most logical other DB and would fit well.

He is probably going to Texas now. Mack , Cooks DB trainer, is planning on being at UT next year to help them out.

To be fair the 2019 possible LSU class will be filthy. The state of Texas is loaded this year.

Clay Mack he trained Jamal Adams and Jeffrey Okudah. Very good WR and DB trainer.
