Sucks that he's going to Bama. Better than OSU tho. Their class doesn't need him

Uh, we play bama every year. Idgaf if he goes to OSU because we MIGHT play him twice max, probably never. But if hes at bama we're guaranteed 3 games.

Yeah I understand that, but I live in Ohio. I'm surrounded by big headed OSU fans.

Not saying anything comes of this, but have heard OSU may turn up the heat on Dellinger if Latham goes elsewhere

I got a bad feeling we’re gonna whiff on all our OTs.

I feel the same way, there's a reason or two for each of them that we could lose out on them.

I understand the virus and all, but we other schools can get top Ot, lsu should to right now. All I keep hearing is not having recruits on campus has hurt lsu, but it's not hurting other schools.

There will likely be a domino effect. If Latham goes to Bama, Brockermeyer would likely look at us or Texas. OSU may look at Dellinger, but I like our position for him. Tristan Leigh likes LSU a lot more than most think.

Watts said it won’t affect Brockermeyer’s decision

Latham and Brockermeyer are both elite LT prospects. Typically, those kinds of guys don’t go to the same school.

Bama mods are saying it won’t affect Brockermeyer’s decision. Bama got both Leatherwood and Wills in 2017 so it’s not unprecedented either

Wills is playing LT in the NFL so I’m not sure what your point is.

He played RT in college. Its possible one of them could make the switch but I think Wills was able to be either one.

I mean it really does not affect his commitment but you never know honestly just wait until he takes another visit

I’m with you on Leigh. We definitely seemed to have early momentum. I believe he got a Clemson offer- an inevitability- and suddenly people thought they were trending because he lives closer to SC than LA.

I think Leigh is the blue chip OT we have the best shot at landing this cycle. A tackle class of him and Dellinger is very solid.

If we land one or both (Dellinger and/or Leigh) in 2021, how’s that going to effect the 2022 in-state 4* OT‘S decision?

Maybe, but Texas insider Mike Roach just CB'd them to Alabama with a confidence level of 7.
