I hate to report it but Ricks has switched to Bama. Sucks and he would have been a great fit but Bama came on strong at the 12th hour and was able to flip him. He was 100% committed to LSU this morning but Bama gana Bama.

He was :/ that’s what makes this one sting. He wanted to wait to sign and commit tomorrow to have some spotlight but that back fired for us because Bama figured out what he was getting here and surpassed it

From what I’ve been able to piece together, he was definitely was going to sign with LSU today and announce tomorrow. Alabama swooped in with cold hard cash, not NIL, cash. Either we aren’t able or willing to match, I don’t know. Every insider report said LSU had the best NIL package.
Unless he signed with Alabama today, there’s still a chance. Whether that’s wiring some money overnight or doubling down on the relationship, which we’ve started with the players tweeting at him.
We’ll see. It’s been a wild ride with Ricks.

He didn’t sign today and we do still have a chance but we (LSU) are going to do much more than we had in place. Not going to by players like that. Have to stick with BKs message, don’t chase a player…be the program the player wants. Kind of play hard to get etc..
