Ok, allow me to reiterate, I said in my comment I was referring to players the same size as Thomas, not smaller, as Hilton is much smaller. I was talking about receivers that are 6'3" to 6'4" or more. Maybe I didn't make that clear. At least I'm hoping that's why you didn't grasp the concept.

Not defensive at all. Just wondering why you have an issue with me comparing 2 players and saying one is better than the other. I doubt very seriously either player will ever read my evaluation. So the fact LSU is recruiting either of them is of no consequence, not in the least.

What difference does it make if LSU is actively recruiting the player or not? As I mentioned, I doubt either recruit will ever read or even hear of my evaluation. But since he is the number 1 WR recruit I thought it'd be a good place to start. And I did eval other WR's of Thomas' size but decided to only use the one who is rated the best in the nation.

No it's not. It's something recruiting sites, coaches and many people in the recruiting industry do every day. Recruits are compared and evaluated at camps, they are compared and evaluated with recruiting services, they are compared and evaluated with coaches.
It's not my fault you don't have the insight and understanding to compare and evaluate recruits. Maybe if you'd try instead of 'dissing' someone that can, maybe you'd gain some perspective on the entire process.

No, I cannot. Because if it's 'dumb' then you are saying every LSU coach that compares and evaluates players is 'dumb'. And not just LSU coaches, but coaches at every collegiate institution.
I could be a smart arse and ask if you can comprehend that, but it'd be a rhetorical question, so.....

I actually compared and evaluated several players in the position group that are similar in size to Thomas. But, yea, which ranking is better to start with than the number 1. Someone mentioned Hilton, but Hilton isn't similar in size. I think some people don't really read the comment, they just see a fraction of it and decide to start an argument.

May be some bad blood with LSU since they didn't recruit Juniors dad, but I really don't see this as anything that would keep him from being a Tiger.
exactly... if this was little further down I-12, i could see it, but Walker is pretty solidly LSU country... would take something very strange for Bama to pull one we really want out of there...
