I honestly don’t blame BK/LSU for refusing to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a kid that hasn’t played a down of college ball.
Let’s say we would’ve kept Underwood. You know what we don’t have if he stays? That stacked Def you saw on the field Saturday night along with some stud skill guys.
Losing Bryce was a blessing in my opinion whether you believe it or not bc there are some good QBs coming out in the next two cycles.
As for the 2 WRs, you can’t throw a stick in Louisiana without hitting a stud WR. Until I’m proven wrong, the two of them won’t be missed. On top of that, with the portal, who’s to say 1-2 of those guys don’t end up at LSU anyway. Sign at one school to get that bag and then transfer to LSU to get developed.

Nope, CBK is doing it correctly. Don’t overpay for unproven talent. Those guys might end up being ordinary. Kelly is wisely letting the ones that want to be overpaid go, then using his money in the portal to get Mansoor Delane, Baur Sharp, Barion Brown, Haulcey and Cooley, and those offensive and defensive linemen who pushed Clemson around. I like it.
