I simply have a hard time believing that there are 18-20 WR's ranked ahead of him at his position based on the body of work he has put out there for four years at 5A and camps.
That is the issue, rankings are comparative. Is Kid A better than Kid B (with body of work AND measurables considered). That's extremely hard to justify. Especially for a player that has set the records he has done.

Now "point scores" and stars are slightly different; one major reason they are different you are breaking them down into "layers" or categories versus comparing them player to player to player.

I was very happy with 247's innovations. I enjoy the rankings and the crystal ball, etc. Sonny/Shea/Steve Wiltfong are true professional journalists. The rest of that site is filled with some of the most unprofessional people I've come across. I don't care about subjective things like player rankings, I'm disappointed with the CEO Shannon Terry (Lucky) actively favoring one team. I'm disappointed with clowns like Perroni actively rooting for a high school girl to not be cleared academically. I'm disappointed with someone like JC Shurburtt's arrogance and his inability to hold himself to a higher standard than an anonymous poster.

If Sonny and Shea had an independent site, I would absolutely subscribe, but I have cancelled my 247 subscription.

Walrus, I quit the sites for all those reasons. BBI would be the one I would sign up for in the end if I were to do it again.

The irony is, espn may very well end up with the best recruiting service in a couple of years. I also think if we land everyone we should, we will no doubt be number 1 on espn. Not that it matters, and I'm not just saying that because we might end up ranked higher on there then anywhere.

In 09 they had us #1. Which was correct.

I've got a very bad feeling that Fournette is going to Alabama.
