That's what happens when you put a very good former Texas high school football coach in a place, like Ruston, where there are a lot of kids to pick and choose from.

Ruston only has around 1250 students. They are one of the smaller 5A schools in the state. For context, Denham Springs has over 1000 more students than Ruston. Not trying to take any shots at Denham Springs, just pointing out the difference in school size.

I agree that Coach Baugh is a very good coach. They certainly have things rolling in Ruston at the moment. This years football team may be the most talented team they’ve had in his time as head coach.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see teams from Texas to start coming after him.

Look at the difference between Ruston's enrollment and a school in Division 3 or Division 4. That's what I meant when I said there are a lot of kids to pick an choose from.
