Bowe Bentley, dual threat QB, set for Spring visit according to TD.com. Looks like a solid prospect, what chances do we have to land?

He's blowing up the boards. Most have him pegged to OU right now but that could change.

He was a stone cold killer on last years Celina squad

quote:

QB Bowe Bentley
New On300 Ranking: No. 45
Previous: NR
School: Celina (Texas)

Scout’s Take: “Bowe Bentley brought Celina HS (TX) a state championship and a perfect season as a junior going 16-0 after totaling more than 4,000 yards in the air and on the ground while scoring 63 total touchdowns. He’s been the model of efficiency and consistency throwing with excellent timing and accuracy on the tape and during the all-star circuit. Seeing him throw it around at the Navy All American Game allowed us to see the ball ballistics with our own eyeballs and the ease in which he gets rid of the football. His whip and ability to throw the football with multiple arm angles with consistent accuracy is striking. If he can continue to physically develop and fill out his frame while maintaining his athleticism and put together another strong season, he has a chance to become one of, if not the top signal caller in the country.”

Bowe coming into town this weekend. Oklahoma appears to be the favorite but we will see how we do on Monday's report.

quote:

After another visit to Norman this past weekend, Bentley will be in Baton Rouge this weekend (March 15) before visiting Ohio State (March 18). Georgia (March 20), Florida State (March 22) and Georgia Tech (March 29) will get him on campus later this month, he told Simmons.

He's a priority for OU, problem for Bentley is, how much does he want to struggle up there.

We're in a really good position right now because even though a lot of QB's are committed there's a lot of talented prospects to recruit.

Bowe is growing on me but we're still in talks to the Houston QB commit and others.

He's good and at a traditionally good program.

The HC is a boss, expects great things from his team. He's been on that staff for over 32 years.

Bleeds Bobcats.

Do you think he could possibly be overrated due to the talent on the team?

No.

He plays within the offense and recognizes his opportunities early.

I like what he did as a Jr.

That NE corridor of Dallas is growing fast and is a hot bed for football.

I try to make a different game every week in that area.

That's bad arse. I have gotten lucky with Dave Campbell and NFHS I can see most of the state.

Bowe is really growing on me and I kinda hope we make a run at him this weekend. Maybe he can spend a little time with Nuss.

Yeah it’s not ideal for a Texas kid but let’s see how the visit goes
