High school recruiting has become obsolete. 95% of that class transferred lol

High school recruiting is not obsolete when you actually recruit good players.

That’s about the most casual statement I’ve ever seen here. Last I checked, the teams actually WINNING titles still recruit top 10 HS classes every fricking season.

Bad development by the coaches that were here at the time was a big part of the issue.

If you only hire guys that can recruit as coaches, then high school recruiting is meaningless.

If you hire coaches that can actually develop talent, which is what you should do, then it is a huge boon for your program.

Kelly hired bums ffor multiple assistant positions his first year. The only good one left after 2023. The rest have been or will be fired

Kyle Parker is awesome we just happened to have an offense that was incapable of getting him the ball. Really the only other person besides Whit and Parker who has contributed from that class is Dylan Carpenter.
