So after the commitment of Shone I went and watched all of the highlights of our early #1 2022 recruiting class. And these two guys sophomore tapes just really jumped out at me. And the thing that jumped out at me the most was both of these guys SPEED.

Both these young men are blazing fast for safeties. Both constantly running down guys from behind even if they were well in front. Also Bryce in particular played some QB in the highlights where he could really showcase his speed and ball skills. Looked like a young Nick Marshall(don't tell Gus. Although he doesn't realize DBs are better for his system than QBs). So when he gets a pick you know he's gonna make a play after. And Bryan NEVER let a guy run past him.

Also Bryan in particular was an incredible tackler. Big hitter. And incredible play recognition. In just that short minute you get him recognizing screens a few time and coming and blowing it TF up. This guy does not miss a tackle. Really lays the wood.

It was also great to see that both of these guys lined up at corner multiple times. Meaning they have no problem lining up in coverage. So in their first couple years the safety positions may be locked up. But either of these guys with their speed and coverage skills could easily play nickel for a year after Kary departs.

Just pray we can hold on to both the guys. Because you don't see this kind of speed from two safeties in a class often if ever. Can't wait to see in a few years Bryce playing center field at FS going from sideline to sideline making plays and letting NOTHING go over the top. And Bryan making play after play at strong safety in both the pass and especially the run game with his top tier tackling ability. THE FUTURE OF DBU IS BRIGHT. But when is it ever not.

Oh and PS: Idc if Walker Howard hasn't played much.. Dude has a CANNON. And throws out routes and corner routes to far hashes with ease. As a SOPHOMORE. GIVE THE MAN HIS 5*

They are both studs. Allen Jr. is particularly exciting to me.

Wouldn’t be much of a highlight video if he did.

Since 2018 (which was an outlier), each of O’s signing classes has gotten better and better. This one might wind up being his best, and also has a chance to go down as the best signing class in school history when it’s all said and done.

He’ll (Howard) get a 5*, he’s the highest rated 4* and hasn’t started yet, #3 rated QB skies the limit

Really hope to hold onto these prospects. Will be a fight for sure. They’re amazingly talented.

Not knocking Allen or Anderson but people always seem to forget the fact that these are HIGHLIGHT videos

I have seen Bryce Anderson in person several times last year. Despite being a sophomore and despite being 6A UIL ball, he was without a doubt the best player on the field for the entirety of each game.
