Does a Freeman hire change anything with likelihood of Davis to USC? Any impact on any other big time D recruits to finish out 2021 class?

Davis says LSU "will shoot way up" on his list if we get Freeman. Paraphrasing there.

If there is one thing I've learned about recruiting over the years, it's this: for recruits who are willing to flip on a commitment, momentum is everything.
We'd have some pretty damn good momentum relative to raesjon if this hire is in fact locked in. Dont think he's a lock or anything, just sayin'.

I recall someone mentioning that tOSU has momentum with Davis. Does that mean we have to root for Bama in the NCG?
