jembeurt selects Camron Johnson, WR Vanderbilt

So as a couple of you know, this is a curve ball. Against my better judgement, and listening to a tPOS, I did an about face and selected Johnson. Johnson might be the prized recruit for the Commodores because aside from being very good, he’s from Brentwood, TN. Vanderbilt is wanting to start winning battles in their home state, and Johnson fits that bill.

WR Shedrick Jackson, Auburn. Early enrollee, good size and athleticism, and Bo Jackson's nephew.

G Joey Ramos, Iowa State. Can play either guard or tackle. Sites have him rated at both.

jembeurt selects Chris Collins, OLB/DE North Carolina

I’m taking a chance here purely on measurables. 6’5” 215, he basically has the same body type as Keke Mingo coming out. Decent offer list tells me other schools seem to like the potential upside as well.

Daniel Johnson - TE - Kent St.

A Canadian freak athlete who played on both sides of the ball for a Canadian powerhouse team. Has the build of a NFL tight end now. Hopefully he falls in line with the likes of Edelman and Antonio Gates whom are Kent State products.

Ultimately, everything is going to be subjective, but if I'm looking at the first round picks in our draft alone, I think there are plenty of guys that will be in front of many of the guys you listed.

At QB.. if I throw out Fields who I think will be a stud, but admittedly has a bit of a blockage on the depth chart with Fromm... Dorian Thompson-Robinson might be more attractive than Cammon Cooper with Chip Kelly as his coach. Cooper may get the opportunity to throw it 1 billion times, but I just don't see top 15 overall there. Gatewood doesn't even belong in the conversation IMO. He's a project... again with a high ceiling.

At RB, I'm admittedly biased, but there is a reason that Zeus has been rated so highly even though he basically ignores the camp circuits. I like Slade over Lingard as well.

OL - List doesn't include Salyer is shite. Arguably one of the best position coaches, has already shown insane development from year 1 to 2 with both new recruits and existing players at Georgia, and Salyer comes from the same program that put out former starting RT Andrew Thomas (soon to be starting LT). He'll start 2.5-3 seasons at UGA before the NFL comes calling.

No sense in trying to make an alternate list of 15 because ultimately it's all just a reason to argue something that is entirely subjective... but I'd say it's pretty easy to discount 2/3 of your list as inaccurate without making too much of an effort.

Cooper is going to rewrite the NCAA record books, win a Heisman(or 2) and lead WSU to a Rose Bowl or 2.

I would take Lee easily ahead of White and any other RB. Those highlights are unlike anything I have ever seen.

Silvera is better than any DT in this class or last years class for that matter.

Overshown and Reese are freakazoids. That kind of wingspan is pretty much unheard of especially for a S or non pass rushing LB
