Completely agree. I wouldnt have blamed them if the family wanted nothing to do with LSU after Jordans percieved experience. Either we as fans vastly overrate our voice or Jordan/family really have great selective hearing or ability to shut out noise. I was one that was very hard on Jordan, though not in a harsh way as some were. Then again i was very critical of Jarrett Lee as well

I think Jefferson and Cushenberry are a couple of the best last spot flyer takes we've ever had in program history. Neither were highly touted, but the staff had no qualms about taking them after a bigger fish got away. I'm glad these two didn't get their pride hurt when the staff told them they were holding out for other high profile recruits, but to stick around in case a spot comes open. All too often, that doesn't work out like that. Glad these boys stuck around and worked their tails off to be some of the best players in the country at their positions.

I agree with your post, but the name Kinchen deserves some love too when it comes to family and LSU football.

Jefferson family has been very very good to LSU. All three kids were great Tigers but the baby of the bunch may be best Jefferson ever?
