The #1 pick is exciting, but also worrying - especially this year, when there isn't a guy that I think is far and away the best in the class. That said, I'm pretty happy with my choice: Cam Akers, RB, FSU.
This dude is a beast. Plus, he's going to FSU as Cook is graduating, so he's basically got a wide open path to the starting job if he lives up to the hype. And there's a lot of hype; Rivals has him as #3 overall, #2 in the 247 comp, #7 in their rankings, and #3 on Scout. I strongly considered the linemen that are ahead of him on several sites, but I wasn't convinced that they were the best players in the class - and none of the sites are either, considering the wide divergences in top 5s.
Cam also said he didn't to to Ole Miss because of the NCAA investigation, and that's hilarious. Frick Ole Miss.

Nice pick. He was the number one player on my list as well.

Let's see how fast we can get this train moving. 2 hour windows during the day again ?

And as it pertains to JUCO guys, yes they have technically played in "college", but it's allowable. I can't see someone being eligible if they were added late in the summer/fall (after our draft) playing on that team for the year, and then being drafted the next.

Something like that. It may not be as strict, but I'll try my best to keep it moving along. I will definitely get busy with work at times, so we'll see.

So its my pick and of my top 5, the only two left are Bama players?

With the 4th pick I select Najee Harris RB Alabama.
As much as it pains me to say it, they reloaded at RB for the future here. This kid is an animal. The only question mark about Harris is what color Dodge Charger he will select.

I feel like I was in on a team the very first year. This was way back in the Mike Davis to Texas days.

jembeurt selects Walker Little, OT Stanford
He was the #2 player on my board, so I'm stoked to get him. He may be a reach to some, but I feel he is the best OT in this class. This is the third year in a row I take OL with my first selection (2015 - Martez Ivey, 2016 - Greg Little). Both played extensively in their first seasons, so I'm hoping for the same with Walker. Stanford's line wasn't the best last year, so he may be able to sneak into a starting role after a couple of games.

tPOS Memphis selects Alex Leatherwood, OT Bama
Mountain of a man child, and a mean streak to go with it. Good selection here.

Interesting. 247 obviously likes him... even though composite is low 20s, their individual ranking is at 6.
