Problem is, no matter how hard one tries to be rational and be helpful for the good of all, usually winds up being ridiculed for their point of view and beliefs by a small group of uneducated individuals.
The irony is, those same people get bent when you try to disagree with them.
Pretty sure natural selection had a plan for them, but they are now a protected species.

dreaux, my post was not a response to you at all, it is a response to the guy, Tiger4071 (or something like that), with whom you are battling. It was he who quoted you and responded with the breathtaking irony:
He uses "your" instead of "you're," the very word you used/spelled correctly (though inadvertently redundantly) that he called you out on. My post was calling him out for calling you out on the very word he abused (which you did not).
Anger is not my state of mind, it is embarrassment: my Alma Mater's reputation is not enhanced by her fan's constant misuse of the synonyms for there, your, to and the oft abused could/should/would have. That appeal was to all posters, not you. None of my post was addressed to you. And my issue is not grammar, it is diction.
My post meant no disrespect to you or even Tiger4071 (ibid.), and it saddens me that your misconstruction took you to the point of insulting expression.
