I know Desean Smith from high school, he and my little brother are actually pretty good friends. From what I've seen on facebook, he hasn't said anything regarding committing to any college, but know he's also considering Bama, and definitely noticed the BCSNC, particularly our offense
fwiw he got 165 likes
However, I talked with him at the Auburn game back in October, and he seemed absolutely in love with LSU. It also definitely helps that he was there for those pimpass uniforms and the shellacking we put on Auburn.
All in all, I think we'll snatch him up

LSU does a great job of recognizing talent instate that rivals and some of the other big websites do not see much of. I don't think the coaches that work all day recruiting during the offseason would offer some "ho hum" player if they did not see what his potential is. Which great players are you even referring to?
