A good friend in Oklahoma told me that this recruit (Trey Metoyer / WR ) had quoted the following about LSU recruitment...............
" I was looking at LSU. But they had the # 1 receiver last year ( Ruben Randle) and he only caught 11 balls the whole eason! I need tha in one game"........
This mundane offense LSU is bringing is filtering into our recruiting base!! The better guys do look at what teams are doing......We lose another one............

We need to offer Tobias singleton. I've seen this guy play and he is sick. One of the best MS players I have seen in a while

Brad Wing did not get cleared to play by NCAA. I am happy to say that Coach Joe Robinson was very happy that Kyle Christy was at the kicking camp last Saturday. Kyle dominated the field goal competition and the kick-off competition. The punting competition was canceled due to weather, but Coach said Kyle "put on a clinic" out there today. Tigers made the offer yesterday afternoon!

Don't know who exactly you might be refering to on the ego comment, but if you're refering to Kyle, you could not be further from the truth. He's a great kid who would be an asset to any team.

I talked to one of jarvis' former coaches at the gym today and he said lsu recruited jarvis as a db and said that's what he wants to play at lsu.. can anyone verify this? not sure if this has been discussed yet

a few of my observations from 7 v 7 at lsu this past saturday
hilliard: good kid and impressed w/ his ability to catch the ball.. the patterson OC is football coach crazy throwed
beckham: prob mvp of the camp.. kid is a football player.. unfortunate he is smaill bc he would be one of elite wr in the country.. i would not have a problem if we recruited his as a wr.. inherently got open every play and had great cover skills as a cb
-carver had an impressive wr but don't know who he as

Updated once again. It's gotten really slow recruiting wise as many players committed somewhere else.
Also, getting close to the max allowed for a blog, I'll start removing players who don't have an offer according to both sites or I feel that they aren't going to waver on their commitment

QB-6-5...Zach Mettenberger- JC(El Dorado, KS)he signed with Georgia out of high school,He has LSU as a choice so i would like to land this guy,along with Steven Rivers 6-6 QB maybe good for awhile

Some one needs to check out Justin Walker at Lee Co Ga. He will end the season in the top 10 in all passing records. Has more yards than Greene, Bobo, Belue did in hi school. Will be in top 5 in TD's for the season and passing yards. Has better numbers than Jarrett Lee!
